Can I just walk in?
Yes. No appointment, no online form first, no queue ticket. Come to the counter at 6607 Main St and someone will deal with you, whether that is renewing your plates, asking a question about your home policy, or bringing in a letter from an insurer that says no.

Somebody comes in holding a renewal notice with a number on it they were not expecting, and we read it across the counter together. That is the shape of most days on Main Street. The office sits in the heart of the Punjabi Market, and the conversation happens in whichever language it happens in. Weekdays run to 18:30 and Sunday afternoons are open, which matters when the person who needs to bring the paper in works Monday to Friday.

Do I have to live in Vancouver to use this branch?
No. The branch is at 6607 Main St if you would rather sit down with someone, and our licence covers all of British Columbia either way. Burnaby, Richmond, the North Shore and the rest of the province are all inside it. If coming in does not suit you, we can start by phone or online instead.
Can I renew my ICBC plates here?
Yes. We are an Autoplan broker, so plates, renewals and transfers are handled at the counter, usually while you wait. Bring your current papers and your driver’s licence.
I am in Burnaby or Richmond. Which office is closest?
This one. Main Street is the nearest of the three offices to both, and we serve them from here. No appointment is needed, walk in during opening hours.
Is this branch different from Delta or Surrey?
No. Every branch writes every line of insurance and routes files internally to the right department. Use whichever office is most convenient.
Can I come in on a Sunday?
Yes. This counter is open on Sunday afternoons. Delta is open on Sunday as well and holds the longest hours of the three. Surrey is the one office closed on Sunday.
What if I need help outside opening hours?
Call the branch anyway, calls route to a branch that is still open. Delta has the longest hours and is open seven days a week.
Do you speak languages other than English?
Yes. Our team speaks Punjabi, Hindi, Italian, Cantonese and Mandarin as well as English.
