Everyone should be able to use this website, and every branch.
Insurance matters most to people who are having a hard time. If any part of our website or our offices is difficult for you to use, tell us and we will fix it, and we will help you another way in the meantime.
Are S&S branches accessible?
Yes. All three branches (Vancouver, Delta and Surrey) have parking and wheelchair access, and no appointment is needed. If coming in is difficult for any reason, we can handle your insurance by phone or email instead, and we will not treat that as second best.
How this site is built.
Plain English on purpose
We write at a reading level most people find comfortable, because insurance is confusing enough without the vocabulary.
Works with screen readers
Headings are in proper order, links say where they go, and images carry text descriptions.
Readable contrast and text size
Colours are chosen for contrast, and the text resizes without the page breaking.
Keyboard friendly
You can move through the site and use the forms without a mouse.
Works on a phone
Every page is built for a small screen first, because that is how most people reach us.
No trickery
No pop-ups that trap you, no countdown timers, no boxes ticked on your behalf.
Tell us where we fall short.
Accessibility is not a box we tick once. If something on this site or at a branch is hard for you to use, we want to know. It is the fastest way for us to fix it.
Contact us
Email office@sandsinsurance.ca or call any branch. Tell us what happened and what would have helped.
What we will do
Acknowledge it, tell you what we can fix and when, and help you another way in the meantime.
Another format
Need a document another way? Larger print, read aloud, or explained on the phone. Just ask.
