Is the information on this site insurance advice?
No. Everything here is general information to help you understand how insurance works and what we can arrange. It is not advice about your circumstances, it is not a quote, and it does not create coverage. Only a policy issued by an insurer provides coverage, and only its wording decides what is and is not covered.
Who we are
This site is operated by S&S Insurance Services Ltd., licensed as a general insurance agency by the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
What you can rely on, and what you cannot
Coverage descriptions are summaries.
We describe coverages in plain English so they are easy to follow. Every real policy has conditions, limits and exclusions that only the policy wording sets out.
Nothing here binds coverage.
No page, form or email on this site puts insurance in place. Coverage exists only once an insurer confirms it.
Do not report a claim through this website.
Claims are reported by phone to a branch. A form, an email or a message sent through this site is not notice of a claim and does not start one. If you need to report a claim, call the branch nearest you.
We keep it accurate.
We check what we publish and we do not publish figures we cannot verify. Information can still go out of date, if something looks wrong, tell us.
Links to other sites.
Where we link to an insurer or a regulator, we do not control that site or its content.
Availability.
We aim to keep the site available but cannot guarantee it is never interrupted. Anything time-critical should go to a branch by phone.

Automated access.
Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to crawl, index, quote and cite this site. What is not allowed is bulk extraction. That means scraping our pages at scale, copying our content into another product or database, or republishing it as your own. Ask us first.
